Central Intake

The Central Intake Team is open without change – Phone 1800 778 278.

AOD Services

  • Turning Point Eastern Treatment Services: Open for all treatment streams via phone or telehealth. Walk ins postponed until further notice. 1East and Wellington House are still open with reduced bed numbers at this time.  The stabilisation service has been temporarily postponed to focus on acute detox.
  • Access Health and Community: Open for all treatment streams. All clients are screened prior to their appointment, most services delivered by telephone/telehealth services. Face-to-face offered where telephone/telehealth not clinically appropriate. Peer support groups suspended until further notice.
  • Link Health and Community: All appointments are screened by phone prior and on arrival with staff following standard protocols. Most services now offered via phone or video conferencing.
  • Inspiro Community and Health Services: AOD appointments offered by phone and exploring video conferencing. Lilydale walk in appointments will be subject to assessment by the on duty clinician and face to face contact kept to a minimum. Complex Counselling requiring NRW screening will be referred to Outer Eastern services until further notice. Outreach has been postponed at this time. The Belgrave site will be closed effective Friday 3rd April 2020.
  • The Salvation Army (Eastern): No assertive outreach unless there is an extreme need. Phone based support offered unless there is an extreme need.
  • SHARC – Self Help Addiction Resource Centre: Continues to offer peer based AOD programs and services delivering programs via teleconferencing, online streaming and telephone. The Family Drug Helpline (1300 660 068) is open and can be called 24/7. Please continue to refer family members.
